My approach is grounded in unconditional positive regard for you. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to guide you with structure, thoughtful questions, and support as you reconnect with your energy, strength, and sense of self.

I came to health coaching through personal experience. After more than 30 years of living a vegetarian/vegan lifestyle, I was deeply invested in nutrition and health. It was through navigating chronic pain, burnout, anxiety, and job loss that I chose to turn my experience into purpose.

I bring empathy and curiosity to our work together, creating a space where you feel heard, safe, and supported. I meet you where you are and use evidence-based strategies to help you rebuild trust in your body, restore your energy, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Health coaching is a collaborative partnership that facilitates behaviour change through evidence-based strategies. Unlike a traditional expert-led approach, a coach works with you to identify your own strengths and motivations, helping you build sustainable habits aligned with your personal vision of wellness.
Coaching is a great fit if you're ready to take action and want a thought partner to help you get there. You don't need to be in crisis or have everything figured out. Many clients come feeling stuck, stretched thin, or like they've been putting their own needs last for too long. If you're navigating a health challenge, a big life change, or simply know what you want but can't seem to make it stick, coaching could be exactly what you need. Not sure? Clients commonly experience improved energy levels, better stress management, and a stronger sense of self-efficacy. Research consistently shows health coaching increases life satisfaction, sense of purpose, and overall happiness while reducing daily anxiety, typically over 8 to 12 weeks of consistent work.
Sessions run 30 minutes via video call. We start by reviewing your recent wins and challenges, explore any obstacles in your way, then collaborate on a specific, manageable action plan for the coming week. You'll receive a short written summary afterwards.
Health coaching is not currently covered by most insurance plans. However, some HSA (Health Savings Account) and FSA (Flexible Spending Account) plans may reimburse coaching services — it's worth checking with your provider. Because I offer introductory student rates, sessions are priced to be accessible while you receive high-quality, evidence-based support.
All sessions are conducted online via video call, accessible from anywhere. You'll receive a video link after booking confirmation.
I'm completing my final certification hours at an NBHWC-approved program. The coaching is fully evidence-based and supervised. Rates will increase after graduation in May 2026, so now is an ideal time to start.
